About the Company

House of Champions is more than a workspace. It is a professional home for ambitious people, built around creativity, connection, collaboration and wellbeing. The atmosphere we create matters, and the smallest details often make the biggest difference.

We are looking for an energetic, commercially minded and people-focused Membership & Business Development Manager to help grow our membership community, enhance member experience, and identify opportunities to increase occupancy, revenue and engagement.

Role Purpose

The Membership & Business Development Manager is responsible for driving income generation across House of Champions through membership growth, room and event bookings, and strategic partnerships. This role ensures an exceptional experience for all members, nurtures strong relationships, and actively seeks new business opportunities that align with HOC's creative, community-driven ethos.

This role would suit a creative thinker who enjoys shaping new ideas, partnerships and events, and who is professional, reliable and committed to representing the House of Champions brand.

Key Responsibilities

Membership Management & Growth

  • Oversee the full membership lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, retention and renewals.
  • Build strong relationships with existing members, ensuring high satisfaction and proactive support.
  • Develop and deliver membership growth strategies, including outreach campaigns and targeted promotions.
  • Maintain accurate membership records, reporting monthly on KPIs, trends and opportunities.
  • Create and implement initiatives that enhance member experience and community engagement.

Business Development & Income Generation

  • Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities across memberships, room bookings, partnerships and events.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, charities, businesses and community organisations.
  • Develop tailored proposals and packages that align with HOC's brand and revenue goals.
  • Represent House of Champions at networking events, business forums and community engagements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to set quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Analyse trends and recommend pricing, promotions or product improvements.

Partnerships & Strategic Opportunities

  • Seek and secure partnerships that enhance House of Champions' visibility, community impact and commercial success.
  • Develop charity and business partnership packages that balance value with sustainable revenue.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with partners, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term engagement.

Event Collaboration

  • Work closely with the HOC Events Manager to design and deliver meaningful events and experiences for members, partners and the wider community.
  • Support event marketing, outreach and attendance growth.
  • Identify opportunities for themed events, collaborations and brand-building experiences.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, membership management or client relationship roles.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a creative, community-focused environment.
  • Experience in events, hospitality, coworking or community spaces is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong external relationships.
